Grease Monkey Auto Repair & Transmission

Davis 6 months ago

Mike did a pre purchase inspection on a vehicle for me. I was coming in from out of state so I couldn’t drive it before I bought plane tickets. He saved me from buying a vehicle from a nearby Honda dealership that had some unreported damage. It wasn’t on the car fax but there are uneven body panels, some seam sealer that had been painted over, and a few other things that made it appear like there was an accident that had been repaired without being reported to the car fax. The Honda dealership likely didn’t know, but Mike from grease monkey saved me from flying across the country to buy a car that wasn’t worth the trip If you want a mechanic that will be honest with you, I’d highly Mike at grease monkey garage. I can’t say enough good things

I gave them a shot based on reviews and I’m so glad I did! They checked everything in front of me, explained the job, and gave me a fair price. They installed an a/c compressor, replaced engine valve cover and changed the oil. I can honestly say they put love into their job which I never thought I’d ever say about a mechanic! Haha But here we are. Highly recommend A++++++ definitely be back!

Mike has integrity which encompasses many characteristics: honesty, accountability and strong moral principles. His repair costs were very reasonable and he informed me of a future repair that I will need by showing me a video. It wasn’t a pressure tactic but out of a sincere concern. In addition, I had the honor to meet his beautiful and smart wife and daughter. I highly recommend Mike for any automotive repairs. He saved me lots of money and it was so refreshing to have an excellent mechanic with honesty. I give him ten stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently moved to Florida two years ago and I obviously didn’t have a go-to mechanic when I got here but I found Grease Monkey after I moved here who had the best pricing on an oil change. He was running a special and even gave me the same price for my second oil change. I have been going there ever since and I am always happily greeted by either Mike (the owner), his lovely wife/partner, or employees. Grease Monkey Auto Repair & Transmission is the definition of a small mom&pop shop with exceptional service! I recently was in an accident and even though Grease Monkey Auto Repair isn’t a body shop, Mike (owner) still offered to do the repairs. He assured me he has done many insurance claims and that he works with a body mechanic that handles all his body work request and I would get top of the line repairs. He was 100% spot on. Being a female and not being very educated on cars and operations of that industry, I have always felt nervous to agree and hope I won’t be taken advantage of (because I definitely have been). I never felt that when he told me he could take care of my car. He knows I have a small child and he knew how important it was to me to have a vehicle that was put b

Had a timing repair done on my Toyota corolla. The mechanics sent images and photos while getting work done to show me what was going on with the car. Very appreciative
